Art Gallery Jobs Dc What is your job/career/occupation?
I’m a Freshman in University. I work at my schools Art Gallery and I volunteer with my Fashion Club to do Fashion Shows, Dinners, Galas, and Events around the DC Area. I don’t get paid for but I’m putting it on my resume so when I study abroad I can get a hot intership with Burberry, Chanel,Louis Vuitton,H&M or etc. Next week I’m working at a men’s fashion show and I get the wonderful job of dressing all of the sexy male models…
I want to be a Fashion Buyer/Visual Merchandising after I graduate and than I want to be a Stylist or some type of Fashion columnist.
photographer…. freelance stuff I refuse to do weddings
and photo restoration
I have actually thought about going back to school to do something like fashion merchandising… it seems fun
Hello:) Can you please check my prayers? (Grammar and run-ons / Punctuation … etc.) Thanks: D When I learned that the flight had been born in Italy claimed, tried to return the piece to its own countries, and a jury convicted the Italian a few months in prison, I thought it might be a tension between France and Italy. In Italian light, it would be unfair to keep the piece as a collection of French royal art simply because Leonardo Da Vinci lived in France before the last three years of his death and was invited to King Francis I.
"When I learned that the thief had been convicted as Italian to light by an Italian jury, I thought it could force the Franco-Italian relations. The thief had tried to take the piece that was stolen from Italy, because I thought it would be unfair to take part in the Royal Collection French Art. The French had Leonardo Da Vinci here because he had lived in France for the last three years of his life and had been invited to King Francis I === I guess that explains everything about the flight – which was stolen, from where and by whom. If not, you need. ==== I think my version is better than John. Sam's mistakes.
Art Ideas For Kindergarten Do you think that laptop schools would be a good idea?
I think that laptop schools are the future.
Pros:
No lost homework, notes, classwork, etc.
Faster note-taking (Average human types at 40 wam, writes at 20)
No stolen classwork
Much lighter than textbooks
Never looking for a pencil, paper, etc.
Textbook publishers wouldn’t have to pay for paper; instantly updated textbooks online with school’s monthly subscription
No need for a computer lab
One-time fee for laptop in kindergarten instead of new school supplies every year (They both cost around the same)
Cons:
Students might go on games
Students could e-mail answers to each other (easily block-able)
Can’t use for art class, band class, etc.
So, what do you think? Do the pros outweigh the cons?
I think it’s a great idea!!!!:D
To solve the first con you can just block sites or have a school password to unblock them could change every day, week or month.Anyways the teachers would probably notice. The second con you already solved. You can block it. The third con is solved by having the laptops for only Math, E.L.A., Spanish, Science and Social Studies and any other writing or non- active classes. Another good pro is that it will make the school budgets a lot more flexible!!
Art Gallery Nashville is an artist’s statement the same as a cover letter? Also what general size would a gallery want to show?
Is an artist’s statement the same as a cover letter? Also what general size would a gallery want to show?
I’m going to apply at several in Nashville ,also do you think I should put my copyright on the art I send in for them to preview?
Do they take paper or just canvas, and should the art be framed? Also what should I ask in turn about the Gallery? Any help is appreciated.( I will not respond to those who think its all right to be rude)
No, but an artist statement and a cover letter sort of work hand in hand. the cover letter for an artist is meant to explain how you would work for the gallery you’re propositioning. it’s mean as a sort of sales pitch for yourself. it should start out with a heading including your basic information, then have the information to whom you’re sending the packet (be specific, no “to whom it may concern”). the cover letter should be short and fairly catchy.
an easy guideline to follow is like this:
first paragraph – introduce yourself and explain why you’re sending your information. be concise.
second paragraph – explain how your work fits the gallery or showing space. draw attention to appropriate parts of your CV (which should be included in the packet).
third paragraph – it is not always necessary, but here you could give a very condensed, 3 sentence version of your artist statement.
Dropping off a bunch of artist packets at random isn’t a good idea and can be a waste of time and money. You should do a little research on each gallery and choose those that seem to fit your work best.

GO FOR IT! Mother I taught painting when I was about 2. Of course, he started painting with fingers, but I think I went around in the ceramic 4. I owe all my love for art that if no local programs, then, of course, you can teach. Only a box of crayons and large paper ^ _ ^
