Hi
can anyone explain me a summer term system please? I would like to apply for one in US for this July and August. I would like to study marketing, PR, art management or microeconomics. The only problem is, that the lectures I found vere only evening classes 4times a week. I am confused. Could you suggest me any other program? I would like to apply for MFA or MBA beginning 2010, so I would like to use this summer to have a look on my dream universities. I would like to use the summer term for learning, having fun, getting to know the country and people and traveling a bit. What should I do?
Thank you for the answer.

At my college you can only take up to 10 hrs in the summer and the classes are only offered mon-thur no friday or weedend classes. But the times vary: morning classes, afternoon classes evening classes.. it all depends on what they have open.. I go to Southeastern Louisiana University..

I would suggest you apply to a university that has courses that you can take on-line. You obviously have access to a computer since you asked this question on yahoo.
I know there are quite a few business schools that offer on-line courses that you can take anytime you want and you don’t have lectures to attend. You work at your own pace and you do all the work on-line and this replaces the lecture requirement.
Many of these schools are accredited and the courses will transfer to another school and their degrees are all accredited.
Also, since you mentioned you’re interested in a MBA program then I would recommend studying Marketing or micoreconomics first since almost all the MBA programs require some Marketing and microeconomics. PR is usually only required for a Marketing degree. I do not recommend Art Management since these programs will look at this type of course as amn Art course rather than a management course and you probably won’t find it in any MBA program unless you can take it as an elective.
Check the website “www.americanonlineuniversities.com” and you’ll see a list of the most popular on-line universities in the U.S. and you get the details from each school and decide for yourself. If you have your own laptop computer and you can take it with you, then you should have no problem taking courses this way.
